Editorial Policy

ToolHub Pro publishes 59 free calculators across finance, health, home, marketing, security, unit conversion, and time categories. This page explains how we source formulas, attribute authorship, handle YMYL content, and keep tools current.

Formula Sourcing

Every calculator formula is sourced from a named primary reference before publication. We do not use secondary sources, blog posts, or unattributed formulas. Each tool page links directly to its primary source so readers can verify the mathematics independently.

Where multiple accepted formulas exist (for example, Mifflin-St Jeor vs Harris-Benedict for Basal Metabolic Rate), we use the formula with the strongest current evidence base and explain the choice on the tool page.

Authorship and Credentials

Finance tools are authored and reviewed by Hafeez Alli-owe — QA engineer and founder of ToolHub Pro. Hafeez sources every finance formula from CFA Institute guidelines, IRS publications, and Federal Reserve data, and reviews each tool for accuracy before publication.

Health tools are reviewed against CDC, WHO, and NIH guidelines. Security tools are verified against NIST SP 800-63B and FIPS standards. Every tool page includes a visible author or reviewer attribution line and links to this policy.

We do not accept paid placement, sponsored content, or advertiser influence over tool formulas or editorial content.

YMYL Standards

Finance and health tools carry higher editorial standards because errors could harm users financially or physically:

Update and Review Cadence

Tool pages display a "Last updated" date. We update formulas when primary source guidance changes (e.g. new NIST SP 800-63B revision, revised IRS brackets) and perform a full formula accuracy review annually.

To report a formula error, use the contact form. We investigate within 5 business days and publish corrections with an updated date.

Advertising Disclosure

ToolHub Pro displays Google AdSense advertisements. Ad units are visually separated from calculator interfaces and editorial content — ads never appear inside input areas or result displays. Advertising revenue does not influence formula choices or editorial content. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collected by Google AdSense and Analytics.
